Daylight and after dark are different rooms even if the address is the same. A 4 p.m. pool and a 10 p.m. suite need different looks, different lengths, and a different way in. That is more than costume. It is the clock.

Daytime
Pool, yard, boat, cabana. People are in swim stuff. Short sets fit better. Turnout gear and a full uniform look like theater next to a cooler. Lifeguard, cabana, bartender for the first hour: those belong in sun. Tell us it is afternoon. We will not send an after-dark look to an afternoon pool.
Shared hotel pools are still public. If other guests can walk through, move the show inside or skip it. Rain is its own problem. Have a backup room.
After dark
Door, hallway, living room. The first ten seconds are the show. 30-minute window, not a hard arrival time. Quiet hours exist. A 1 a.m. set in a condo is how you meet the board. Most bookings are 30 or 60 minutes. Night is when the hour usually makes sense, if the floor is there.
If you are stacking dinner and a club around it, sequence the night before you pick 60.
