The house
Living room, backyard, sometimes a pool. More floor. Also neighbors, an HOA, and a host who wrote “no parties” for a reason. Read the listing. If entertainment is not allowed in writing, move it.
Parking and the gate matter. Send the actual address and how a guest gets in. “Fort Lauderdale” is not a driveway. We still need a 30-minute window. I-95 at 10 p.m. is not a guess you want to make on a hard knock.
The Beach hotel
Desk, elevators, quiet hours, visitors after a certain time. Call the hotel. A suite beats a king. If the group is already on Collins, stay there. Do not add a Broward house after dinner on Ocean Drive unless you like sitting in a car.
Looks: house and yard can take water looks if the pool is private. Hotel indoor bits want a door. Match the look to the room.
How to choose
Already in a Broward house with a living room and a host who allows guests: stay. Already on the Beach in a real suite: stay. Splitting the night for a backyard photo is how you lose an hour.
